Herbivore - veggies to go Rabbits are herbivores, which means they eat only plants. We offer baby rabbits veggies and hay as soon as their eyes open, and they usually choose those foods over pellets. (Many people say rabbits should not be fed vegetables until they are over 3 months of age. However, as hard as I look, I'm unable to find pellet feeders hanging on trees in the forest for their wild cousins.) |
